Hogs 4 Paws: Rescue Riding and Fundraising

If anyone ever thought that motorcycles and pets have nothing in common, they’d be wrong. Hogs 4 Paws is all about riding and raising money for shelters and rescues through its events and merchandise.

Founded in January 2016, Hogs 4 Paws produces select, officially sanctioned motorcycle Rescue Rides, Retreats and other FUNd-rai$ing events. Additionally, its exclusive Biker-Pet-Parent Swag allows organizations to team up with over 700 Harley-Davidson dealers and H.O.G. chapters across the country to tap into and capitalize on these fun and easy-to-organize events. And everything is geared towards benefiting animal welfare organizations. The mission is to “Live to Ride & Ride to Save Lives!” Hogs 4 Paws has new and expanded partnerships with American Eagle, Gruene, Javelina & Pig Trail Harley-Davidson Dealerships, Latin American Motorcycle Association & American Legion Riders, Off Leash K9 Training & REALTREE Naturals Dog Treats and American Flat Track Racing Series.

“Biker-Pet-Parents are passionate about their bikes and their pets,” says Chris Ruben, founder of Hogs 4 Paws. “Rain or shine, they love to ride; even more so to help animal shelters and rescues. So whether you ride a BMW, an Indian, a SlingShot, Suzuki or Vespa, come ride with us and be a Hell-p Razor!”

Hogs 4 Paws is pleased to announce its Rescue Ride and FUNd-rai$ing events schedule for the first half of the year:

Saturday, April 6th is the first Annual Hill Country Rescue Ride benefiting San Antonio Pets Alive. 1993 500cc World Champion and 2019 Motorsports Hall-of-Fame inductee Kevin Schwantz and his dog Tank will be grand marshals leading the ride.

On Friday, April 12th, Hogs 4 Paws is teaming up with Austin Speed Shop, Circuit of the Americas and MotoGP to power the third Annual Schwantz Soirée benefiting Bastrop County Animal Shelter.

And Saturday, May 11th is the fourth Annual Red River Rescue Ride for Sharkarosa Wildlife Ranch.

Hogs 4 Paws encourages pet parents and organizations alike to follow their efforts on Facebook and learn about the upcoming events, how to donate, how to sign up and more.
